Acquired by Jamie Rodriguez Salis in 1966, Remelluri Estate was established as Rioja’s first estate wines with the release of their first vintage in 1971.  In the late ‘80s the estate’s reputation rose to prominence under the eye of Jamie's son, Telmo Rodgiguez, who took over direction of the estate alongside his sister, Amaia, after their father's retirement in 2010. Under the new generation the estate's practices are growing and evolving under organic and biodynamic viticulture practices.
